Fabrication manager

Our client, an international company producing advanced auxiliary modules and gas and chemical distribution systems for the semiconductor industry, is opening a new production site in Poland.

For over 20 years, as a leading supplier of modular metal solutions, 3D Strut has been reaching global customers, cooperating with leading brands from the hi-tech industry and beyond. They offer customers a wide range of customised products including all MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems.

Due to the dynamically changing market, the company decided to open a completely new production site in Gdańsk, expanding its presence in Europe.

If you want to be part of this development, apply for the position of Fabrication Manager. You will be responsible for standard production of the product under industrial and safety regulations.

What we expect

• Experience in a previous position as a production manager
• High technical ability
• Ability to work independently and in a team of employees.
• Good communication in English, analytical thinking and high-level computer skills
• Good management skills and in particular team management.
• Ability to solve problems, analytical thinking and attention to details.
• Ability to work simultaneously with multiple departments and external suppliers.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Engineering degree (industrial, mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of management experience Production line
• MS office knowledge.

Your tasks

• Definition and execution of the production process
• Cost management and help in developing and calculating cost models
• Budgetary analysis and daily supervision of production costs while identifying and measuring wear and tear
• Management of all operations in the production process including maintenance and personnel
• Management of logistics, warehouse and supply of the production process
• Management of teams on the production floor and dealing with subcontractors and freelancers
• Management and definition of the organizational structure of the production team and production processes in the company
• Setting and executing goals within the annual work plan
• Preparing a production schedule and implementing quality control processes according to standard procedures
• Inventory management, reporting tracking and production management
• Identifying failures and implementing strategies to prevent problems in production and reduce risks.
• Building good and trust-based working relationships with the various teams in the company
